Science from N to Z
In this one-semester course, we continue our investigation of eponymous laws that have made significant contributions in science and technology, in alphabetical order. We learn about the scientists behind the laws, the laws themselves and their practical application in our everyday life. This course is a great way to better understand our world around us through science. A broad range to scientific disciplines is covered in this course including astronomy, anatomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, genetics, and physics. The course is partially project based, with students completing a corresponding project at the end of each letter unit. A sampling of topics covered includes Natural Selection, Osteology, Planet Earth Biomes, Species Interaction, Toxicology, Virology, Xylology.
