Study Web Design at The Beekman School
This is a one-semester computer course that introduces students to web design using the industry-standard software program Adobe Dreamweaver. Throughout this course, students will gain a general understanding of the vocabulary of the World Wide Web from ISP to PHP. Students will learn the Dreamweaver interface and basic HTML skills. We will also focus on how to use layout, color and design to effectively send a message. Part of the class will teach on basic Photoshop to create and optimize images for the web. Additionally, students will learn to organize, manage, and publish their sites.
